Dra. Samira Nahim scientific career is focused in the application of advanced oxidation and photocatalytic processes for the simultaneous disinfection and decontamination of industrial/urban wastewater and the assessment of their subsequent reuse for vegetables irrigation studying the translocation of the microbiological and chemical pollutants to the irrigated crops.

Her professional activity began in 2015 in the field of Green Chemistry. After that, her research activity in the University of Almería-Plataforma Solar of Almería is focused in the treatment and reuse of wastewater. Samira Nahim is author of 22 publications in indexed international journals, 11 technical publications, 2 book chapter and 1 patent.
