The Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, through the General Direction of Innovation and Competitiveness, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas Medioambientales y Tecnológicas, for the selection of projects related to the Singular Scientific-Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) Plataforma Solar de Almeria,  for its co-funding by the Operational Program Technological Fund, concretely for the project NOVAPSA (FICTS-2015-03) consisting in improvement actions of PSA facilities and acquisition of equipments.

The aim of this project is to expand and improve the facilities and capabilities of Plataforma Solar de Almeria, regarding characterization, demonstration techniques as well as expanding the energy autonomy of PSA with the following actions:
