The Ministry of Science and Innovation, through the General Direction of Research and Management of the R+D National Program, manages the Structural Funds from the European Union, acting as intermediate in the management of FEDER. The actions of this General Direction, are within the framework of the R+D+i National Plan  of the Ministry of Science and Innovation in the Actions Line of Human Resources, R+D+i and Scientific-Technological Infrastructure Projects.
In the Call for 2008 of the Scientific-Technological Infrastructure National Program CIEMAT was granted the following  projects to be carried out at the Solar Platform of Almeria co-financed by FEDER.
